Expense & Cash is a fully offline application. It does not connect to the internet, has no user accounts, and contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
All data you enter — cash accounts, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, expenses, journals, vendors, and receipt photos — is stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage. Data leaves your device only when you yourself export a PDF or a backup file and choose where to share it.
Camera and photo-library access are used solely to attach receipt images and vendor photos. Location metadata is removed from images when they are saved. The app never reads your photo library beyond the images you pick.
When you enable App Lock, Face ID or your device passcode is used solely to unlock the app. Biometric data is handled entirely by the operating system and never reaches the app or leaves your device.
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of its data. There is nothing stored anywhere else.
